Day 31

I can't believe our 30-Day Challenge is OVER!!!! It went by so quick, and yet, not really! :) It was a fun month for me though. It was good for me to count my calories again and get me back on track (and off that much sugar!) 

I did NOT get to my goal weight loss of 10 pounds. I am pretty confident that I would have if I would have done a better job in Seattle, (since I only needed to lose 1.5 pounds this week) But since I caved and ate too many popcorn salt water taffy's and ate at the Cheesecake Factory! I did not hit my original goal! I DID however, lose 8 POUNDS and managed to keep it all off! So I am happy with losing 8 pounds in 30 days!!! Now I just need to lose 11 more pounds to be at my ideal body weight! :) Anyone up to another 30 day challenge???! :) 

Beginning Body Weight: 156

Ending Body Weight: 148

Total Weight lost in 30 days: 8 pounds! :)


I feel better, and healthier than at the beginning of this month! Plus I like the habit Mike and I have gotten into with walking every night. That is one that we will keep doing! (He likes it as well) :)

Day 30

Exercise:
* Mike and I went on a 38 minute brisk walk tonight. (I'm still recovering a little bit from my cold and congestion, so I skipped my strength training exercises that I would normally do today) 

Calories:
* I was a little over on my calories today, but not too bad. I ended the day right at 1880 Calories.


I am feeling better than I was earlier this week. I am getting back on my normal routine of exercise & health(ier) eating (I still enjoy my frozen Reese's Peanut Butter Cup daily). I feel like I will definitely loose my 1/2 pound that I gained this week though! :) I have gotten to really enjoy my evening walk with Mike too! (Thank goodness for our responsible 12 year old) :) I can't believe tomorrow is our last day of this challenge!!!

Day 29

HAPPY WEIGH-IN DAY!!!

I hope everyone had a successful weigh-in day! I unfortunately did NOT! Seattle really did me in! I actually GAINED 1/2 pound!!!! I weighed 148.3! YIKES!


Exercise:
* none..... I have a sinus/head cold and lazed around the house most the day.... :( #imlame

Calories:
* I am at 2,000 calories for the day! I made chocolate chip cookies for Livia's yw activity and I sampled a little too many! Plus I find that I'm having such a hard time getting back on track after Seattle! Dang! :-/


The last couple of days I have been super lame, esp with GAINING a half of a pound! Jeesh! My head is starting to feel better though, so I KNOW tomorrow will be better! :)

Day 28

Exercise:
* Mike & I (and Brooky) went on a long but slower walk today. Our average mph was 2.3 (I told you it was slower!) :) We try to average at least 3.5! But we still walked for 50 minutes, burning around 120 calories.


Calories:
* Mike and I decided to fast today, which made counting my calories pretty easy today! :) I still managed to get up to 1600 calories though!!!

I feel like I am getting a head cold! :*(

Day 27

Exercise:
* Today, we traveled home from Seattle. So more sitting, but Mike & I did go on our walk when we got home. We walked 35 minutes, burning 140 calories.

Calories:
* I consumed 1883 calories for the day. 

I don't feel very healthy though. The calories I ate today were a lot of chips, cracker, and salt water taffy! (darn the popcorn flavored taffy! SO GOOD) So I wasn't too bad over, but of the calories I consumed, I don't feel like they have helped out today. Pooh! :-/ Thank goodness we are home and I can get back on track! Now lets just hope I don't gain for Wednesday's weigh-in!

Exercise:
* We walked on a beach with Beth's family, and that's about all the exercise I did today. 

Calories:
* Today is Sunday, so I did not count my calories, but I bet I was over my 1800 calorie allotment.

Day 25

Exercise:
* I walked on the beach with the kids for a few minutes? 
* I ran on the beach for 3 minutes?
* I helped a guy get his car un-stuck in the sand, by pushing the car with Mike & Tara?
(Does any of those count??)

Calories:
* I started counting my calories for breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and I was at 1334, but then Mike and I went to The Cheesecake Factory! I ordered the Fried Macaroni & Cheese Balls (Which came with 4 balls, and totaled 1500 (375 per ball!!!) I consumed 2.5 of those! Sooo good!! Then I ate a small house salad, with Caesar dressing (no idea, but I know dressing is a lot), and then I finished it off with a snickers cheesecake, which was another 1500 calories! YIKES! (I only ate half tonight, but I know I'll finish the other half tomorrow) :) Total Calories: A LOT!!!

I feel.... not very good, and greasy!
